Installing Bond Straps
2/24/2007 Connecting the bondstraps is not that difficult, but finding the correct spots can be a little challenging because you have to find the correct spot and that the hardware will allow it. I started with the easiest ones to find first. Here you see the Starter to Generator bond strap. Hardware is included with the Bond Strap Kit I received from Ron.

Here is a link to the directions of installation Click Here
2/24/2007 Here the bottom screws of the Radiator. Note, you need to be careful not to strip these fine thread bolts.
2/24/2007 Hood to the tub are simple ones to replace as well.
2/24/2007 The Grill straps are pretty simple to install as well. Note: if you are working on your grill remember not to rivet these to spots.
2/24/2007 Another simple one to get to is the Generator to the Regulator ground strap.
2/24/2007 This one is pretty easy to find. Hopefully your tub still has the bolt sticking out of the tub. This strap connects back of engine block to the tub, and connects the temperture gauge line (far left) and the speedometer line (black line)
2/24/2007 Passenger side engine mount (at the bottom) to the engine flange.
2/24/2007 This one is a little different. Driver side engine mount to the engine flange, but also to the exhaust pipe (bronze colored strap). I tack welded this holder to the exhaust so it would stay.

2/24/2007 Coil Bond strap. From the bottom of the coil to the coil bolt.
2/24/2007 Bottom of transmission to the frame crossmember. There is actually one more strap that goes in this area at the top. I can't find the correct placement of it.
