Brake Lines RESTORE STAGE - Started in Sept of 2005. Took a acouple of days.
9/24/2005 Knowing that the front axle is loaded with grundge I decided that I would get a brake line kit from Ron on the Gee.
9/24/2005 I installed the Line assembly and the Guard assembly to the front Driver side first.
9/24/2005 When I opened the kit from Ron I immediately saw a difference in the line assemblies as the were a bit smaller. Turns out it is a much better fit than the original, as the old one would have pushed the guard assembly out to far.
9/24/2005 I took this shot, to give me a visual of what the front brake lines looked like before the axle restore
9/24/2005 Then I compare to what it looks like after the installed brake line at the Tee.
9/24/2005 Top view of the Front Axle brake line. The fit is very good, just need to install the clamps
9/24/2005 Passenger side front brakeline fit well like the others.
9/30/2005 The Rear brakelines were pretty easy to install. I started with the driver side. Note: Its best to fit it in the Tee first because of the angle
9/30/2005 I installed the larger half which went to the passenger side next. Again I started at the tee because of the angle. I still have to install the clamps.
9/30/2005 I hooked up the passenger side next and it was complete.
9/30/2005 Installing the last tee assembly and its done. Pretty easy. Just hope it doesn't leak at this point.
