The elusive Late model Radio Filter box with Conduit.

7/4/2008 The elusive radio filter box and conduit have been very difficult to find. I finally found this original box, capacitor, conduit and cable in the Washington area. The first thing I did was take it a part and try and remove all of the rust. Here you see it was in pretty decent shape.

7/4/2008 Once I primed and painted the outside of the radio filter box, I replaced the capacitor, cable, and added a new bond strap.

7/4/2008 I installed the box, and installed the cable into the conduit. Note: I had to removed the 90 degree elbows in order to push the heavy cable through. Once I pulled the cable through, I installed the 90 degree elbow and used a screw driver to help work the cable around the elbow. I then tightened the elbows in order to get the end to line up in the floor.

7/4/2008 Here, I slapped the cover on the radio box, and tighted the conduit to the floor with the connectors to the conduit. The cable will go under the tub floor and attach to the foot starter. There should be clip holders under your tub to go up to the starter on the glove box side.
